Orlando, FL (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Flyers center Peter Forsberg will miss at least one game because of a wrist injury he suffered on Thursday. Forsberg left the Flyers' 4-1 loss to Tampa Bay in the first period when he was hit from behind near the boards by Lightning defenseman Paul Ranger. Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Philadelphia Flyers forward Peter Forsberg may be ready to play at the start of next season as he will not require surgery on his left ankle, the team announced on Tuesday. The 32-year-old had surgery on his right ankle this past May and also had two bursas removed. The procedure for his left ankle would have kept him out of the lineup until early January. Forsberg appeared in 60 games in the 2005-06 season, and scored 19 goals with 56 assists for 75 points.
